Following sellout treks to Europe, North and South America and Australasia, The Killers World Tour will call in to Singapore in January 2010. The multi-platinum VMA Award-winning, Grammy-nominated band from Las Vegas, was formed in 2002 and blazed on the Indie scene in the year 2003 with their hit “Mr. Brightside”. The band consists of Brandon Flowers (vocals, keyboards), Dave Keuning (guitar), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci (drums). Part of the post-punk revival movement, The Killers draw their influences from music styles of the 1980s. Released in 2004, The Killers’ debut album “Hot Fuss” brought the band mainstream success and critical acclaim. Their second album, Sam's Town, was released in 2006, and the compilation album Sawdust containing B-sides, rarities, and new material, was released in 2007. Their third studio album, Day & Age, produced by Stuart Price, was released in 2008.
